Losing every system you owned is pretty epic fail and I whole-heartedly support the Gallente being given a medal to commemorate their loss. It takes some special dedication to losing every fight against the Caldari attackers, or even avoiding fighting them at all, to lose all your systems.
FFS you know exactly where they are going to be, was it too much work to warp away from the Villore gate to go engage them? It's not the Caldari's fault you were too cowardly or too incompetent to mount any effective opposition to them at all. You didn't even need to know how to use the scanner to find and stop them and you still failed. Way to fail to show up to the PvP fights, Gallente! o7
The constant sour grapes and whining from Gallente get rather old. Why not simply be honest and say "We didn't feel like fighting the Caldari over our plexes, so we didn't show up. As a result of our decision not to engage, we lost our systems, but we're having fun doing something else instead"?
As for the medals, they should be given to everyone who was in the militia at the exact moment all the systems were taken, and no one else.
After looking at your kb stats, your Rank and your employment history it looks like you joined the Caldari militia in June 08 and left in April 09 with 8 kills to your name. You then rejoined the militia on 28-05-09 which was 3 days before the last system fell. You want a medal for that?  |

With the plexes gone there is nothing left but k/d ratios. Judging by the way the Caldari have been getting slaughtered recently it looks like they care as much about winning a fight as the gallente felt about plexes.  |

CCP should give the medal to anyone who's ever been in the Caldari militia. It would be unfair to not give it to people who have left and unfair on any new members who never had a chance to run a plex. This includes my spy who sat running missions for 8 months, got no kills and never ran a plex.
